2012 Summer Intern - Motion Picture Marketing

Internship Description:
Candidate will be interning with the Executive Vice President of Marketing. Responsibilities include -
• Liaise with studios, international markets and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery of marketing materials
• Distribute intra-company communications
• Help assistant coordinate international press junkets
• Create marketing presentations for slated films
• Attend weekly marketing meetings
• Manage corporate calendar
• Perform on-line research and competitive analysis in support of marketing plan(s)
• Cover phones when assistant is away from the desk
• Miscellaneous duties and/or projects as assigned??

Job Requirements
• MGM interns are unpaid and therefore must be able to receive academic credit
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Concentration in Marketing, Communications or Business preferable
• Current class standing of a sophomore or above in an undergraduate program
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Available to come in 3-4 days a week (start and end date flexible)
