Production Assistant Intern - Summer 2012

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Marketing is seeking a Production Assistant Intern to work with the Creative Services Art/Print department for the Summer of 2012. This position is responsible for assisting the Print Manager with projects being produced for major marketing events and support for various TV shows. The Production Assistant Intern will be trained on how to prepare files for print, build graphic designs and learn the steps involved in a print production department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with building schedules, updating timelines.

Assist with preparing files for print.

Produce color proofs that meet international standards.

Assist with all aspects of print production.

Other job-related duties or projects as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must be currently enrolled in a college degree or related trade school program.

Graphic Design, Fine Arts or Marketing degree or focus is preferred.

Previous experience in Graphic Design with an emphasis in Marketing preferred.

Computer Skills: Macintosh - Adobe Creative Suite, word processing, spreadsheets.

Must have technical working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Indesign.

Excellent verbal and writing skills required.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Must have ability to communicate effectively & tactfully with managers & other levels of personnel.

Must have ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written & oral instructions.

Must have ability to organize & schedule work effectively.

Must have ability to work well under time constraints.

Must be able to handle multiple tasks.

Must possess professional mannerism.
