The Role:
Live Nation Entertainment's Southern California Marketing team is in search of a highly motivated, organized and most importantly, enthusiastic individual who is interested in working within the heart of the live entertainment industry. As a Live Nation Entertainment marketing intern, you can expect to develop your marketing and project management skills and at the same time, gain valuable, real-world experience in the live entertainment industry.
Responsibilities:
• Support the marketing team by updating the marketing and promo database for the show roster.
• Participate in tracking offer and marketing exposure for media buys and promotions.
• Proof-reading and quality assurance of ad materials, tracking codes, links, etc. for TM controlled assets
• Assist with management of e-cards and e-newsletters
• Write creative and relevant copy for promotional use.
• Run ad hoc reports to track specific asset performance for individual teams/clients
• Create excel spreadsheet reports to track specific asset performance for individual teams/clients
• Manage incoming promotional submissions
• Assist Marketing team in day to day activities.
• Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements :
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school
• Must be eligible for school credit (and able to supply a letter from sponsor/administrator upon request)
• Must speak, read and write Spanish and English
• A degree in Marketing or Communications is preferred
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to commit to a minimum work schedule of 20 hours per week and a maximum of 30 hours per week with some availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays are required
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
• Detail-oriented
• Able to coordinate multiple work streams for on-time project delivery
• Eager to learn and be proactive with new tasks
• The ability to conduct yourself in a professional matter at all times
• The ability to learn and absorb at a fast pace
• High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
