Boutique fashion and lifestyle PR agency seeks a creative and motivated account executive. We are seeking a hands-on publicist with extensive entertainment, lifestyle, event and fashion media contacts. The successful candidate will be a creative and strategic thinker. He/she will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have PR experience within the entertainment/fashion PR field. Must be a self-starter with innovative ideas, who is ready to hit the ground running. We have a diverse range of clients and need someone to immerse themselves into these brands and start pitching immediately.

Position details:

Jr. Publicist with 2-3 years experience

We are looking for a stellar candidate with the following qualifications:

• Experience in product placement with fashion and lifestyle brands
• Team player with a can-do attitude
• Hard-worker and self-starter
• Ability to write bios, press release and media alerts
• Experience in managing and maintaining client accounts
• Highly sophisticated client communication skills
• Strong grasp of social media landscape, including business-driven use of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and others
• Experience in coordinating events (sponsorships, front-of-house, etc).
• Creative with the ability to pitch fashion news, trends and feature stories
• Must be able to show at least 10 media contacts as a reference
• Must show writing samples
• Press book is a plus
• Agency experience preferred
• Stylist contacts preferred

Duties:

• Pitching
• Assisting partners with all pitching and related tasks
• Managing day-to-day social media for specific clients and Dell et Ruhs
• Drafting monthly reports and related correspondence to clients
• Manage showroom inc. all stylist appointments and all shipping and receiving for editorial pulls
• Oversee 1-2 interns and related duties of tracking samples
