Responsibilities:
Establish and lead new digital media production and archiving workflows including asset creation, collection, organization, QC and inventory tracking workflows.
Develop digital distribution order management, production and delivery tracking workflows.
Provide supervision, direction, and leadership for a variety of operational activities (including staff and process development, business management, and project management).
Initiate, provide the vision, and manage the successful execution of many high-level division projects.
Organize and distribute work assignments to production teams, ensure work is being completed on time, and ensure the quality of work is consistent with client expectations.
Communicate with all departments in order to ensure deadlines are being met, as well as report back to company executives with the status of projects. The position will also be responsible for ordering supplies, materials, and any necessary equipment to keep production moving.
Maintain relationships with client by participating in meetings with all levels of management.
Be responsible for the overall management and coordination of studio projects.
Work with and support internal customers to ensure client deadlines are met.
Create, compile and administrate technical operations policies, procedures and rate sheets.
Delivery date analysis and exception reporting.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years progressive operational and management experience.
BS/BA degree required. Graduate degree preferred (MBA).
Exceptional senior leadership skills and experience.
Strong digital media experience in video, audio, subtitles, graphics, metadata and other media asset formats.
Strong experience with digital asset and workflow management platforms.
Significant digital distribution experience with broadcasters and portals in worldwide territories.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and manage effectively (listen, influence, develop, motivate and lead others).
Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
Demonstrated ability to manage complex and high-level projects and tasks. Individual must possess a drive for success and a proven track record for seeing projects through to completion.
Experience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Experience in multimedia, software and/or creative production environment preferred.
Demonstrated high-level and cross-functional experience dealing with finance and accounting plans (including the generation of business plans), human resource programs (including staff development, reviews, organization design), and legal issues (reviewing business contracts, leases, non-disclosure agreements, intellectual property, etc.).
Strong and efficient computer literacy (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, plus experience with project management, flowcharting and database software).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines.
