Job Description:
The Digital Marketing Manager is primarily responsible for on-time delivery of online marketing project initiatives. Campaign elements include digital marketing, publicity, SEO analytics, email marketing, social media, lifestyle marketing and other interactive tools.
Department is responsible for designing online marketing plans & initiatives in conjunction with account Project Manager's overall marketing plan and objectives. Individual must be extremely digital savvy, constantly on top of emerging trends in social media and apps but with a strong marketing mind to match. Individual will maintain the online marketing programs delivery schedule, coordinate & manage online marketing project requirements, conceptualize and implement online/digital marketing ideas, update project manager regarding the clients account status as it pertains to digital. As well as measuring and reporting progress on client accounts. The digital marketing manager works with team members across the company's various departments, including, visual production, design, social media, online marketing, publicity, & lifestyle marketing.
The Project Manager is exceptionally aware of online marketing best practices and tools, efficient, highly proficient at artist marketing campaign tracking and reporting, fantastic at keeping track of online marketing campaigns on multiple projects through various stages in their campaign cycle.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Development and execution of comprehensive digital marketing campaigns for artist singles & album releases
Development and execution of social media campaigns connected to various campaign promotional efforts throughout an album release life cycle
Development of online marketing programs that can plug into overall account campaign plans
Execution of contest, giveaways & promotions using online platforms and methods
Create, and manage day to day social media profiles and digital properties for branded content campaign for local and top tier music artist that build fan base, increase engagement, drive traffic, increase visibility, membership, add traffic and ''likes'' to fan page.
Working with our design team, create, design and manage email/mobile marketing campaigns for artist accounts & brands
Managing email newsletters for brands
Understanding, reviewing and reporting on digital analytics across online properties as needed
High level of understanding of digital analytics
Deep understanding of emerging technologies, marketing platforms and how they relate to music artist and brands.
Communicate and document impact of digital campaigns and overall marketing efforts in a weekly report, per project to project manager
Assisting in pitching various content to digital publicity outlets for premieres, features, promotions, collaborations etc
Experiment with new and alternative marketing strategies to leverage social media activities
Research and monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications and update team on new developments in social media landscape.
Working knowledge of community platforms, systems, website software, and online viral and grassroots promotion techniques
Knowledge of Search engine optimization (SEO)
