Membership Manager
About the Opportunity:
Come join The L.A. Office as we continue to build The Lounge, home to the brand and entertainment marketing communities. This individual will be the key point-of-contact for our most comprehensive service, The Lounge. The ideal candidate will be able to cultivate relationships and maintain an entrepreneurial spirit, as well as manage and collaborate with team members.
Our members include individuals and companies involved in entertainment partnerships. The Membership Manager will successfully match our members marketing needs with the services we provide.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Membership Manager include retention and expansion of The L.A. Office Membership Program and The Lounge.
Point of contact for our entertainment, brand and agency Members:
• Welcome all of our new members and help them understand the benefits of the Membership Program
• Maintain an ongoing relationship with our Members and make sure they understand the benefits available to them and their teams
• Ensure that our Members are taking advantage of our core services (Online opportunities, email marketing, events and RoadShow Webinars)
• Schedule RoadShow Webinars for Platinum Members
• Oversee email marketing efforts, and make sure The L.A. Office is actively promoting our Members’ properties and partnerships
• Develop and execute a plan to retain members
• Identify trends with our members, and work with management to create solutions and opportunities that will enhance Member benefits
Responsible for overseeing and managing logistical aspects of the Membership Program:
• Develop a systematic approach/strategy for keeping content up-to-date and relevant to both entertainment and brand marketers (Property and Contact Information; Promotion Tracking; Case Studies; and Blogs)
• Manage the Gold and Platinum membership rosters, oversee invoicing and member receivables
• Oversee the marketing and technical team for the RoadShow Webinars
• Manage the Membership team (paid staff and interns) that maintain and update The Lounge content
• Work with Technology and Marketing suppliers/vendors
• Assist in developing new products, fresh content and Lounge enhancements that continue to make The L.A. Office a unique organization
Promote and build The L.A. Office Membership Program
• Heavy involvement in developing marketing materials that will promote the various levels of our Membership Program
• Identify companies that would benefit from the Gold and Platinum Membership Programs
• Build relationships with potential new members
• Be able to sell Memberships to both Gold and Platinum Members
• Growth and Enhancements to the Membership Program and The Lounge
o Work with the rest of the management team to identify additional revenue streams that maximize the company’s resources
QUALIFICATIONS
Required skills and experience:
• Excellent communication and time management skills, self-motivated, energetic and positive personality
• Team player, forward thinker, computer savvy, detail oriented, enthusiastic
• Ability to set, manage and achieve goals in a fast-paced, high growth environment
• Strong integrated marketing background with a solid understanding of the entertainment marketing industry
• Excellent writing/editing skills along with strong all around communication and project management skills
• PC skills should include: MS Office suite (Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint, Excel). Familiarity with Dreamweaver and Photoshop is a big plus
• The ability to ''go with the flow'' is a must, while having the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Marketing experience with all forms of advertising media: radio, print, TV and outdoor
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in related field.
• 4+ years experience in managing multi-level marketing projects within agency and web-based businesses.
