Intern - Film PR and Marketing

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

We are looking for an outstanding candidate to work alongside JAMS founder and senior producers to support an animated short film starring Back to the Future's Christopher Lloyd, fashion blogger Tavi Gevinson, and Academy Award winner Kathy Bates during its festival run.

Job responsibilities include:

help the JAMS management team to implement PR and marketing activities

update and maintain film's website and presence on social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube

deliver weekly media summaries

prepare and track festival submissions

perform festival landscape audits

While this position focuses on marketing and PR it is also a great position to give you a real sense of the festival circuit as you will be included in local film festival events.

We are looking for someone to work 1-2 days a week. This is a self-directed position and while you will report to one of the senior producers, the right candidate will be someone who needs little supervision and is extremely hardworking and conscientious. This is an internship on steroids and you will be treated as a full member of the team.
