Intern - Social Media Manager

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Sirk Productions is an award-winning film, television and creative services production house. Sirk and its television show, The Inside Reel, are seeking interns for promotion of internal social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and WordPress blogs.

The Inside Reel is a interview-style show in which we sit down with the biggest names in fimmaking today. Content is posted on our blog and promoted via Twitter and Facebook. Interns must have a deep knowledge of film and television in order to successfully promote The Inside Reel.

This internship is part-time and unpaid but has definite potential to grow into a full-time paid position for the right candidate. Interns generally work 10:45am to 6pm and anywhere between 2 to 4 days a week.

Responsibilities include:
• Promotion of Sirk Productions and Inside Reel Facebook, Twitter and Wordpress pages
• Cultivation of already established communities
• Potential work for external clients
• Assist head digital strategist with any and all duties
• General administrative tasks in and outside of the digital marketing realm

Additional Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of film and television
• Must have experience with or strong interest in social media marketing
• Experience with HTML is a major plus
• Flexible, creative, positive attitude and can handle multiple tasks
• Must be self-motivated and a team player
• Must be available for this Spring
