Senior Financial Analyst

Bunim Murray Productions, a busy television production company and producer of ''Project Runway,'' MTV’s “The Real World,” E!’s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” and much more is currently looking for a Full time, Year Round Senior Financial Analyst to start ASAP.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prepare internal financial reporting package for month-end, quarter-end and year-end close
• Compile financial results in parent company’s format
• Prepare, track, and analyze actual results to forecast/budget and prior year on a comparative basis
• Interact with senior management and parent company finance team
• Assist in analyzing, preparing and reporting of annual budgets and forecasts
• Assist in building ad hoc reports and models
• Assist in annual audit by preparing fluctuation analyses as well as providing required supporting documents
• Perform special projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
• 3 – 4+ years experience – accounting (financial reporting preferred; mixture of public/private a plus)
• Team player with solid interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and be detail-oriented
• Strong Excel and technology skills, including financial systems (Great Plains Dynamics preferred)
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• General understanding and knowledge of the entertainment industry preferred, especially in a production oriented environment
• Must be a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic, who is able to work independently, as well as in a team environment
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle several tasks simultaneously, as well as re-prioritize as necessary
