Sales Associate

This is a Full Time Job

The Sales Group aligns advertisers with highly targeted, premium social ad-inventory across our network of properties. You'll be responsible for generating revenue from our core advertising products & services, as well as cultivating custom sponsorship opportunities across multiple sites in our key verticals. You must be knowledgeable about social media and have a proven track record of online media sales.

Responsibilities:
-Reach and exceed sales quotas while contributing to overall team goals
-Prospect, penetrate and create new relationships with large advertising agencies and companies
• Create and deliver compelling sales presentations using industry knowledge, market trends and case studies to clearly communicate the value proposition
• Engage potential clients via phone and email
• Always deliver the highest level of customer service

Key Skills & Qualifications:
• 1-3 years media sales experience and familiarity with social media and online advertising
• BA/BS degree
• Working knowledge of Powerpoint, Keynote, Excel, SalesForce & Google Analytics
• Ability to effectively manage time, reach decision-makers and quickly determine opportunity potential
• Knowledge of competing products a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to move fast and thrive in a dynamic, quickly-changing environment
• Good sense of humor and team player
