Interactive Art Director

This is a Freelance Job

A great consumer brand is looking for a strong Interactive Art Director to join its team on a long term freelance basis. You will be leading the design endeavors for branded sites while working closely with in house teams in development, production and marketing to reach your goals. You will lead junior designers while moving from conceptual to tactical endeavors seamlessly. You will be working on a variety of projects from content updates, promotional campaigns, branded games and interface updates.

You should have:
• 6+ years of experience in interactive design
• 2+years in a lead role
• A well polished, updated portfolio showcasing your expertise in concept, design and layout, interface design and a strong understanding of user/consumer behavior.
• Experience in consumer brands, retails, toys, fashion or kids related content.
• A firm grasp of current trends and best practices in the industry.
• Strong skills in the Creative Suite, inclusive of Photoshop and Flash, and working knowledge of HTML and HTML5

This is an ongoing [approx. 1 year] on site freelance position in the LA area [Westside] with a rate in the $40-$45 hourly
