Job Description:

The Business Development Intern will work with and support Allied’s New Business team and Specialized Marketing department, as they develop pitches and strategic marketing programs for current and potential clients. Our intern will assist in various projects; which will include research, contact with brand managers and updating internal databases. The Intern will assist with the incorporation of ideas into formal marketing presentations and materials in addition to day-to-day administrative tasks. This position will also be responsible for collecting and organizing field information to working at the events.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent communication skills; oral and written
• Knowledge of the advertising and marketing industry
• Ability to articulate and participate in brainstorms with team on pitches and strategic marketing programs
• Ability to take initiative and work independently when given projects and tasks
• Experience in dealing with last minute requests and aggressive deadlines
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Adaptability to multiple programs/clients across a variety of categories including entertainment (film, network, gaming) in addition to consumer brands
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking is a plus, but not mandatory)
