Sr. Project Manager

Maker Studios is a fast paced and growing new media company looking for a Sr. Project Manager. We are looking for professionals who pay attention to detail and show dedication and commitment to our team. Maker Studios differs from other production companies in that we produce many projects daily, so the ability to work in a high stress environment is crucial.

The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple web and mobile web project spanning across multiple platforms and back end systems. This leadership role reports to the Head of Marketing and requires excellent organization and communication skills, as well as a keen grasp of web development technologies and best practices.

Duties Include:
• Gather and distill project requirements from Marketing Leadership and Maker Talent to create project plans, time and resource estimates, schedule, milestones, and development costs
• Manage multiple web projects and diverse work efforts within time and budget constraints.
• Managing internal or external resources for design, development, QA and deployment through all project milestones
• Instill Project Management discipline and focus to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery.
• Develop and refine team processes to maximize work effectiveness and delivery.
• Manage Talent and Internal expectations for web launch dates and functionality.
• Report status of projects and escalate hot issues to Marketing Leadership.
• Work closely with the internal Product team on new platform features / improvements
Qualifications include:
• Proven hands-on experience in leading the implementation of live, brand-name sites from inception to launch.
• Project management experience at a leading interactive / digital agency strongly preferred.
• Experience in managing all web development life cycle tasks including: Strategy, Business / Functional requirements, UI design, creative design, development, testing, deployment, and training.
• Ability to work and think creatively in a fast-paced environment.
• BA / MS degree in MIS, Marketing or other technical degree.
• Minimum 5-7 years experience managing web projects.

Based in our Culver City location, this is a demanding job, often including 10-12 hour days, which rewards and honors hard work.
