This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Record Label / Management Firm / Music Supervision
Must research and stay relevant on signed/unsigned artists in rock, indie rock, rap, electro pop genres.
Answer phones and manage incoming/outgoing phone calls.
Facilitate emails and liaise between A&R and various labels, entertainment attorneys, producers, videographers, and artists.
Must be proficient on MAC computers and creating/managing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
Must be available/accessible by email and phone between the hours of 9am ? 8pm. Working hours for this position will range from approx 15-25 per week.
Majority of work for the company will take place remotely however there will be in person meetings twice per week at office or other venues.
Person must have a car w/valid driver's license and be available to drive to studios or company meetings.
Looking to fill TWO intern positions ASAP.
About founder: Formerly worked at Interscope Records in A&R from 2005-2010, went on to work as music coordinator at The Tonight Show w/Jay Leno, managed and developed 3 new acts within the last year and responsible for getting them all signed to major label deals (including Island Def Jam and Warner Music). Currently managing/developing 4 artists and consulting/A&R scout for head of urban music at Atlantic Records.
