Video Editor

This is a Full Time Job

EQAL is hiring a Video Editor to edit original short-form (5-10 minutes) video content for a high-profile fashion and beauty YouTube premium content channel. We are looking for someone with both creative and post-production management skills. The Video Editor will also shoot and edit basic short-form videos for our portfolio of celebrity editorial websites. This is a six month contractor position available immediately.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have advanced knowledge of the Adobe Suite, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Final Cut Pro.
• 3+ years of experience working in video editing.
• Previous experience editing for broadcast or digital as well as a good eye for design.
• Understanding of digital production tools including FTP, conversion tools, and video formats/codecs (H.264, MPEG4, Quicktime, etc).
• Willing to work on-site.
• Ability to work under deadlines and maintain quality and accuracy of work.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle evolving timelines.
• Exceptional organization and communication skills.
• Self-driven and able to easily communicate creative ideas and collaborate in a team environment.

PREFERRED:
• Knowledge and interest in the Fashion and Beauty category (Females, Ages 12-29).
• Experience on-location filming and production (lighting, audio, shot set up, etc)
• Experience using HD video equipment and accessories.
• Previous experience producing and editing content for a YouTube Partner Channel or other online video platforms.
