Senior Accountant - Home Entertainment Finance

This is a Full Time Job

SPHE Finance is seeking a senior accountant for the Accounting and Financial Reporting group. This position is responsible for many key deliverables and analyses.
Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to:

Prepare journal entries and reporting schedules for monthly close.
Prepare monthly account reconciliations; investigate and resolve open items.
Retrieve documents as requested under audit.
Perform user testing for JD Edwards rack asset management system.
Filing and archiving of historical accounting documentation.
Meet all deadlines and take ownership of assigned tasks without undue supervision.

Assist in special projects and ad hoc projects as requested, including account level analysis, title level analysis, audit support, and internal control compliance for Sarbanes-Oxley.67 countries.


Superior Excel skills
Prior experience with either JD Edwards/One World or SAP accounting systems
Dual systems experience is a plus

Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year university, preferably with concentration in Business or Economics
3+ years prior work experience in a general ledger accounting function at a large complex organization is strongly preferred
Public (Big 4) and Private accounting experience is desired
Previous Studio Finance & Accounting experience is a plus
