Senior Account Executive

PMK * BNC New York is seeking a Senior Account Executive for our Brand Communications and Marketing division, to work within the media relations group. The Senior Account Executive will be the lead on a key consumer retail account, as well as other consumer brands. The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for:

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Execute traditional public relations campaigns, including identifying, writing and pitching stories and news to media, blogs, and influencers
• Use creativity to help develop results-driven marketing and public relations programs that fit into the client’s overall objectives
• Build and maintain relationships with reporters, bloggers and online influencers
• Work with internal teams across a variety of clients
• Research, understand, and experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media to achieve overall marketing objectives and goals

Requirements:
• 5+ years in a Marketing or PR Agency
• Experience in developing media strategies, identifying story angles, writing releases and securing top tier coverage for clients
• Understanding in the evolving media landscape, social media, and emerging marketing techniques and platforms
• Ability to manage a project, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks at the same time
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills are a must
