Ad Sales Production Assistant

We are seeking candidates for the position of an Ad Sales Production Assistant in our Chicago, Illinois office.

Position Summary:
The Ad Sales Production Assistant position will work day to day with Account Executives, Sales Planners and Assistants, Senior Management on presentation support and execution. He/she will manage the compilation of presentation collateral, assist with the use of various presentation software applications as well as run the presentations.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist in editing, managing and integrating Discovery Network’s media content for presentation and business-to-business promotional use.
2. Work with Slide Rocket, DCI’s cloud-based presentation platform and the hardware and peripheral devices included for the various venues.
3. Manage allocation of equipment, QA tests, equipment operation (laptop, audio speakers and LCD projectors), transport set-up and breakdown of equipment.

Requirements:
* Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, experience working in a corporate sales culture, be able to work independently, be creative, detail oriented, have outstanding customer service skills, possess initiative and have proven project management skills (organizational, time-management, prioritization,).
* Knowledge of Windows 7, MS Office 2010.
* Final Cut Pro (“basic” editing skills), Photoshop, Advanced PowerPoint a plus.
* Approximately 15% travel required.
