Major Recording Company seeks Video Content Production Manager for new music and lifestyle channel.

Job Description:

The Production Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage logistics for productions and reports directly to the SVP of Production and Development. A successful candidate must be detail oriented while being able to multitask and juggle simultaneous projects in a fast paced and production heavy environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage production schedule and have a detailed knowledge of all shoots.
Manage post production schedule and workflow.
Manage project logistics with production companies and internal staff.
Maintain a database of freelance talent /crew contact list.
Manage digital asset library.
Ability to edit basic projects in Final Cut/Avid.
Ability to shoot basic video set ups with digital video cameras.
Manage schedule of internal studio and in-house productions.
Generate creative programming ideas and filter external pitches.
Strong knowledge of digital formats and compression specs.
Must love music and short form digital content.

Requirements:

2-5 years of working experience in Music, Television, Film production, both on set and in an office.
Must be extremely flexible, working some nights and/or weekends.
Working knowledge of production equipment and set etiquette.
Strong post production knowledge.
Strong time management with excellent verbal/written communications skills.
Desire to work in a creative and exciting musical environment.
