Intern - Multiple Positions

Hiring entry-level interns (unpaid) to be part of a creative team for an emerging pop instrumental artist/ independent boutique record company.

College students needing credit, majoring in marketing or music industry related fields are also welcome to apply. Knowing ins and outs of Myspace, you tube, face book, sound cloud, reverb nation, tweeter as well as other social/music sites are plus. Love of music, enthusiasm and reliability a must!

Below are MULTIPLE entry-level positions for an unpaid intern:

1) Office interns: Will handle day to day phones, emails, letters, data entry (Outlook program)and research -all related to music/TV/film industries. Must have articulate & smooth phone manners with a sense of humor. Must also be able to multitask.

2) Music interns / assistants : must play piano well, and sequence on the Roland Phantom X7. Will assist with music take downs, arrangement, keyboard sequencing, notation and charts. Must read and write music. Must know how to record and edit music. Must know Finale. Also Camtasia & iTunes is a plus. Must know the music scene.

3) Graphic Designers: intermediate level graphic artists to designing necessary promotional materials to promote the album release, concerts & events for artists. Word press, website design, program & maintenance along with knowledge of HTML a plus.

4) Video Production: Directors, Camera Ops, video editors of intermediate to advanced level, using SONY VEGAS pro 10 and other video editing programs. This project is for 30-60 sec. web videos. There are many projects to shoot.

Additional Skills : Web Video Productions & Upload, Directing, Camera & Lights operation, Script Writing & Breakdown, DVD Authoring, Converting Video files to any format, Visualization & Developments, Photography, Film & TV productions are a plus.

Website & Word Press templates design, programming, analysis & Development are also a plus. Knowing video aspects of Camtasia, webinars, google, Myspace, youtube, facebook are also a plus. Your subject line should be: VIDEO PRODUCTION FROM ENTERTAINMENTCAREERS.NET

5) Writer/Editor/Proofreader to review all written content associated with music/entertainment promotional materials. Must have experience in creative writing and know music lingo.

6) Social Media intern: be in charge of facebook, tweeter, linkedin, Google plus, Gmail and Music/artist sites like Reverb Nation, Sound Cloud.

7) Computer savvy IT interns: Gmail contacts, iphone apps, iCloud, Wordpress, Outlook, HTML, keywords, maintenance.

Must live in LA area. Out of LA / State (or planning to move to LA) resumes NOT ACCEPTED. Must have a laptop. After completing a required time (different for each category) for some internship positions, you will be promoted to a paid intern, after a review.

You must be honest, meticulous, reliable and self-sufficient in finishing a task. You will be expected to be punctual, have respect for scheduling and a mature attitude towards work.
