Need 2 experienced videotape operators from Feb. 12-28. Must be very knowledgeable with HDCAM, XDCAM and DVCProHD decks. Very experienced in operation of routing switchers. Any experience with Building 4 Media FORK asset management system is helpful but not required.
Job is Olympic-related and entails:
• routing signals from Vancouver to our facility using a Sony router head that's remotely tied to the NBC IBC facility;
• recording feeds on XDCAM, HDCAM and DVCProHD decks, as well as live ingest to SAN system;
• communications and coordination with in-house scheduling people as well as Vancouver-based production personnel.
You will work Feb. 9-11 and 5 days 8 hrs/day for the next two weeks. Shifts generally range from 6am-1am.
Please have a minimum of 3 years experience working at cable networks and/or tv stations. No beginners.
