Make-up / Hair Stylist

This is a Part Time Job

Make-up/Hair Stylist needed for an exciting new web series! We are shooting on HD, so you must have experience doing makeup for that format. All of our looks are basic and natural.

Filming dates are Jan 29-Feb 1. We're trying to shave off a day of shooting, but right now we're scheduled for those 4 days of filming. Ideally we want the same make-up/hair stylist for all four days, but if we find qualified people with only partial avail, we're willing to work with more than one artist as long as we have someone each day.

Pay is deferred, but we will feed you. To weed out any applicants who ignore the ''deferred'' part and inquire about salary (as many of our DP, gaffer, and prod. designer applicants did), I REPEAT: this is a deferred pay position. Serious inquiries only! We're shooting this on spec to secure future financing, so we're on a micro-budget. However, if you have your own full makeup kit, the money we have presently budgeted for a rental will go to you instead. Please indicate whether or not you have a kit.

Easy gig, free food, and GREAT people. In spite of the micro-budget, there are some fantastic professionals involved. The director of our web series is in pre-production for a Paramount feature. One of our actresses is a rising starlet who just finished a series regular gig on a popular NBC series, and she just booked the lead in an indie film. She's a fantastic person to have in your portfolio. Another actor is also a headshot photographer, and presently he doesn't have a ''go to'' hair and makeup person. This is a great networking opportunity for ambitious stylists-on-the-rise!
