Universal Music Group is currently seeking a Royalty Analyst for the Universal City, CA office. This is a Union position.
Responsibilities:
•Process artist royalty statements
•Analyze and brief artist contracts for royalty obligations
•Set up label copy for new releases
•Create and maintain detailed management reports and prepare monthly G/L entries
•Research inquiries
•Special projects as needed
Requirements:
•4-year college degree in Business/Accounting or minimum of 14 units of Accounting required
•Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail oriented work
•Strong analytical background
•Must be computer proficient using Microsoft Excel and Word
•Experience with recording contracts and prior royalty experience required
•Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
•10-key by touch required
