Full Time Job
The Production Coordinator juggles all the internal needs for artists, directors, and production by managing weekly tasks to support the team. In addition, they will work with external contractors for timely asset delivery. Ideal candidates should be competent in the production software and management tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Help manage projects including multiple episodes of our Emmy awarding winning television show ''Ask the StoryBots'', while working within budgetary and schedule constraints
• Track deadlines for detailed project plans and timelines for all productions
• Coordinate efforts of both internal and external talent resources
• Maintain and improve file management system
• Organize and maintain all digital libraries (sound effects, photos, reference, etc.)
• Brainstorm ideas for team activities; help coordinate events for the team
• Catalogue and track notes from weekly creative reviews
• Create weekly performance report based on data from our analytic tools
• QC content and ensure that all work is being produced to fit technical specifications
• Schedule weekly calendar around all episodes and department creative reviews
• Covers responsibilities when someone on the production team is not available
• Scheduling and facilitating renders for Production Locks
• Coordinating casting / sequence kick-offs
• IMDB credit submission
• General administrative support, including expense reports, travel arrangements, calendar management, etc.
• Mentors production assistant and holds production team to due dates
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• 1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Shotgun and animation production workflows is a plus
