Full Time Job
Golden Globe and Emmy nominated producer, Keri Selig is seeking an assistant to join her team full-time or part-time at Intuition Productions. Her busy office is a focused and collaborative environment where your opinion truly matters.
Selig currently has a number of scripted series set up at studios and networks including FX, ABC, WB, MGM, and NBC/Universal. She has a first-look deal with Tomorrow Studios (the studio is known for Good Behavior for TNT, Hanna for Amazon, the upcoming series, Snowpiercer for TNT/Netflix, and the upcoming series, Cowboy Bebop for Netflix) where she has many exciting scripted series in development. In addition to scripted series, she also produces features and non-scripted series.
An ideal candidate would bring a daily passion for television and film and a desire to help elevate the quality of material throughout the development and production process. They need to be able to effectively multi-task a high volume workload, including scheduling and the management of multiple projects and incoming submissions. Candidate should be a self-motivated, complex problem solver and a team player who reacts with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick response, while also pro-actively anticipating issues that may arise in the future. The candidate should also have great attention to detail while still meeting tight deadlines, have regimented organization skills, and have the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Administrative support for Keri Selig
• Writing notes on project drafts and cuts
• Reading and evaluating current and potential project scripts
• Creating lists of potential directors, writers, and cast for projects
• Rights tracking
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with film development and/or production
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Desires a career as a film/tv producer or studio executive
