Staff Production Supervisor
Interrogate, Inc. is a dedicated team of Producers who represent some of the most creative and emerging names in filmmaking. Our talented group strives to foster a creative environment that delivers the highest caliber work that is always innovative, while always being respectful to our clients as well as our audience. This position would focus on an increasing slate of original commercial productions from pre-production through physical production, working closely with producers, third party production companies, and freelance crews.
The Role:
A successful candidate will be passionate about production, self-motivated, quick-thinking, flexible, able to pivot when necessary, thorough, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail at all times. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is a proactive and a positive thinker, and able to exercise good judgment and communication.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the main point of contact for Executives and Heads of Production.
• Supervise and troubleshoot day-to-day production challenges and appropriately escalate as needed.
• Track and actualize budgets for approval.
• Support on-set productions and remote shoots as needed.
• Review timecards for payroll on all projects.
• Review wrap folders as productions close out to ensure all documentation is present and submit to Accounting.
• In collaboration with Production Coordinator, develop and update physical production guidelines to deliver to freelancers.
• Ensure that crew safety is maintained at all times and adhere to new safety protocols created in response to COVID 19.
Qualifications:
• Passion for the filmmaking process and production
• 3 years of production management experience in production
• Familiar with day-to-day operations of a production office and general understanding of current production trends, and a willingness to continue learning to ensure keeping pace with developments in this process.
• Ability to respond to important, timely or urgent matters across a global/international slate of productions
• Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
• Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask
• Proficiency in: Google Docs, Google Sheets, Microsoft Suite (Excel)
• Familiarity with Adobe InDesign and Premiere a plus
