Insomniac produces some of the most innovative, immersive music festivals and events in the world. Throughout our 25-year history, Insomniac has produced almost 400 festivals, concerts and club nights for over 4 million attendees in California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New York, Texas, Puerto Rico, and the United Kingdom, with expansions into Brazil, China, Japan and India. Insomniac's premier annual event, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, is the largest multi-day music festival in North America and attracted more than 400,000 fans over three days in May 2019. The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993.
Responsibilities
Aid Procurement Manager in managing various sourcing projects across multiple festivals and areas of production.
Research, analyze and map out spend data to identify cost saving opportunities, with an emphasis on production and operations spends.
Partner and collaborate with Procurement Manager to maintain communication channels across key stakeholder departments to provide efficient and effective purchasing support.
Partner and collaborate with Procurement Manager to evaluate vendors through methods such as vendor visitations and various objective performance measurements, including on-time delivery, service performance and price competitiveness
Help establish and maintain new and existing relationships with vendors across multiple regions.
Submit RFI, RFP and RFQs to new and existing vendors.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age and currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school
Must provide documentation from school that you will be receiving college credit for internship
Typical commitment is 10-16 hours per week in one of our office location; this is not a fully remote position
Must be motivated with an ''Everything is possible'' attitude
Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small
Knowledge of Insomniac's brands
Internship Environment
Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
May complete hours in drastic temperature climates
Must be willing to complete tasks during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
