InkTip is a digital platform where filmmakers and screenwriters connect. Filmmakers have optioned thousands of scripts from writers through InkTip, leading to over 400 produced films.
We are a micro-sized organization with a small team working closely with one another. We are hiring a few positions to bolster our organization to venture into exciting new developments.
As a Product Development Specialist, you will focus on all aspects of product development from a technical management lens.
Working with developers, your execution will be on the ''How'' -- on designing, building, and testing our various services.
You will work alongside a Product Manager who will focus on both the ''Why'' and the ''What'' in translating customer feedback and market research into user requirements.
You will report to the product director.
Responsibilities:
- Help translate the user requirements from the Product Manager into more refined tasks/events.
- Maintain product tracking board (we are currently a Kanban-style using our own software but converting to Jira).
- Work with developers to answer questions.
- This role will allow a lot of freedom to operate creatively and design new processes/workflows. We are currently open to efficient, effective ways to make work more meaningful, productive, and sustainable.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Project management skills.
- Track each product/service through its lifecycle (so please mention any Product background/experience).
- A thorough, detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to create new work processes.
- Wireframing.
- Microsoft Office/Google Suite - basic skills.
Requirements:
- Product background (1 yr minimum)
Helpful:
- Basic coding
- Photoshop or other design software
