INE Entertainment - TV Production/ Development Intern
Job Function: We offer internships in these areas
Journalism for TV/Idea Development
Graphics and Design for pitches, decks and onscreen
Admin and Secretarial (occasionally)
Job Description:
We make great content for TV and digital sites. We work with all the major cable networks and hundreds of the digital channels too. We want committed, passionate journalists, content makers, and film-makers to help us create some of our best work and learn how to
develop content, write TV pitches, design decks and everything else that making TV requires. You will be doing research for
the development team as well as: assisting with TV development, helping on television and digital production needs, tackling office operations, helping with pickups and deliveries, executive assistance, and writing creative pitches and presentations.
Required Skills:
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Must be great at tracking down information and fact checking
- Interpersonal skills - Are you good on the phone? Can you talk to caterers, producers, talent
and academics alike?
- Willing to care passionately about what we are trying to achieve
- Willing to ask questions
- Go-Getter Personality
- Passionate about storytelling
What You'll Gain:
You'll experience a healthy dose of actual TV and Digital Production, rarely glamorous in reality but hard work, eye-opening and (we hope!) good fun. Learning how to develop a show is a core skill if you are heading into TV or digital
production, in any capacity, it will always serve you well to have some real understanding of how this is done. Our SNR
team have been involved with some of TV's biggest hits from THE BIGGEST LOSER to THE OFFICE. Learning how to
spot talent, dig out brilliant stories we can turn into content, and then shape that content is a valuable experience.
Requirements:
1. Must need college credit
2. Must be 18 years or older and enrolled in a college or university
3. Must love television, watch television, and have a solid interest in developing show ideas and production
