Music management company seeks experienced Social Media/Digital Manager to enhance and extend reach across various public facing platforms for two well known & established artists in the Urban/R&B space. (Both with 6-7 figure followings on all platforms)
Responsibilities:
Create and manage content/social calendars for pre-launch through post-launch of campaigns
Strategize and Execute Digital Advertising and Digital Marketing Campaigns for releases/tour announces/other big moments
Implement Social Media and Interactive Marketing plans in collaboration with artist and label teams.
Write/revise social copy as needed
Post boosting as needed to increase reach, working with Media team to test and determine target audiences
Work as primary point of contact for 3rd parties, managing their day to day operations; sourcing/producing, ancillary content such as meet & greets, contests, sweepstakes, etc.; and fostering engagement
Work with creative team to maintain due dates and asset launches
Community management
Creation of ad plans for upcoming releases/launches/etc.
Experience & Skills:
Experience working with the major music platforms/DSPs; Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Shazam, etc is a must.
Fluency in social media platforms and tools - Facebook, Facebook Business Manager, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, analytics tools, etc.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with current best practices for increasing reach and growing follower count on social media.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop Creative Suite a plus, but not required.
YouTube Certification a plus, but not required.
Music Industry experience, 1 year minimum.
