Video Coordinator (Part-Time)
Summary
The Fever Video Coordinator position is a seasonal position that begins when training camp begins (April) and ends at the completion of the WNBA season (September). This position coordinates all aspects of video/taping needs for Basketball Operations including, but not limited to, coordination, management, and video analysis of practice, opponents, and game film for study, development, and scouting purposes!
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
• Coordinate taping of games via satellite, internet, television, and other social media outlets.
• Provide administrative support as needed: scouting reports, miscellaneous reports, travel, scheduling, etc.
• Supervises Intern in video support, administrative support, and on-court support.
• Assists in the recording of WNBA, NCAA, and international basketball games (Olympics) for scouting purposes.
• Works with the Coaching Staff in video scouting of upcoming opponents for game preparation.
• Performs live breakdowns of basketball action on a possession-by-possession basis, during home/road games for in game/post game analysis.
• Supervises the scouting and personnel report preparation.
• Use computer programs, such as Synergy Sports System, HUDL, Sportscode, and WNBA Portal to build statistic and lineup analysis reports for use in scouting reports, personnel reports, and other areas of team or opponent analysis.
• Point person in the office while the team is on the road. In this role, will be called upon to perform different tasks.
• Oversees the testing, exploring, and implementing software and equipment for video scouting purposes.
• Build additional basketball edits per coaches' requests.
• Assist the coaching staff in practices and individual workouts for the players.
• May be needed to travel on road trips
• Other duties as assigned.

Education
and/or Experience:
4-year degree from a college or university required. Basketball related experience required (manger, player, internship, etc.) with a minimum of 1 year as an assistant video coordinator at collegiate Division I or professional level required. Must demonstrate working knowledge of non-linear editing and must know how to use a video camera to assist in recording practices and individual workouts and must have at least 1 year video experience in logging/capturing basketball action in a team environment. Preferred experience in Sportscode, HUDL, XOS director and sports station.
