In De Goot Entertainment is in search of eager college students who want to gain experience in the music industry as a part of our Marketing Team!
As a part of the Marketing Team, you will assist in the day-to-day promotions of our artists with an emphasis on social media and digital tour marketing. Our goal is to mentor interns on the best practices in digital marketing for a career in the music industry.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
- Utilize social media best practices to post content across artists' platforms.
- Stay up to date on the latest releases, announces, and marketing initiatives.
- Set up official tour announces and presales through Bandsintown, Songkick, etc.
- Create statistical reports using tools such as NextBigSound, Spotify Insights, and Facebook Insights.
- Create content for In De Goot platforms, including monthly newsletters.
- Collaborate with the team to develop creative ways in expanding bands' online following.
Requirements:
- Must be able to receive college credit for this internship and work from the In De Goot office in New York City.
- Strong understanding of social media, streaming services, and music publications.
- Eagerness to learn, ability to multitask and complete assignments according to deadlines.
It would be music to our ears if you:
- Have Photoshop experience.
- Have video editing experience (iMovie, Final Cut Pro).
-Are interested in learning Photoshop and video editing!
Rockstar Candidates:
- Self starters with strong interest in working in the music industry.
- Have a familiarity with rock/alternative music and the In De Goot roster.
- Come to the shows our artists play in the area!
