We're looking for a product manager for our growing professional subscription business in Santa Monica, CA as Sr. Product Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and can develop, execute, and evaluate strategies for engaging and retaining IMDbPro members across channels. To do this, you will collect customer insights, test and execute messaging and campaigns, develop customer programs that drive engagement with key features, and report on results to leadership.
The successful candidate will have experience in product marketing for a digital subscription business and a proven track record of using multiple marketing channels to drive engagement and retention of a digital service or product. The candidate must have demonstrated sound business judgment and be able to think strategically and creatively about a quickly growing business, while at the same time have the analytical ability and desire to drive hands-on execution. Keys to success include exceptional analytical, creative, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills along with a focus on details and a drive for improvement.

Specific responsibilities include the following:
- Partner cross-functionally to strategize new features, benefits, and communications that drive customer engagement and retention across multiple channels – email, push notifications, onboarding, in-app and desktop engagement, social, etc.
- Product manage features that will engage and retain our members.
- Drive engagement marketing strategy; own branding, positioning, messaging and creative across the customer journey
- Drive business case development; bring together customer insights, research, financial data, and analytics to develop a perspective on revenue and profitability potential for new go to market initiatives.
- Lead engagement product rollout marketing; develop the strategy and manage the marketing implementation that drives product engagement from idea through launch:
o Communicate marketing plans and strategy to senior leadership
o Work with the Product Management team to align on features
o Partner with cross-functional marketing teams to guide message strategy across a variety of marketing efforts (such as paid media and member retention)
o Engage the creative team to develop assets and campaigns
o Work with PR, Social Media, and Customer Service to craft press strategy and social media approach as well as inform customer service talking points
o Partner with the Finance and Analytics teams to define and measure success

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree is required
• 5 years product marketing or product management experience
• Digital subscription, membership, or loyalty program experience
• Content marketing or email marketing experience
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases. Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others
• Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the competitive landscape
• Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly and analytically, solve problems, and prioritize work on projects
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA is preferred
• 7 years product marketing or product management experience
• SQL skills
