Full Time Job
The IMDb team is seeking an innovative, results-oriented Senior Product Manager to bring to market and scale high-impact advertising products that support our entertainment and non-entertainment customers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can think strategically about a business, and own delivery and execution end-to-end. You will work with peers and leadership across IMDb and Amazon to analyze customer and business needs, create product requirements, lead product development, measure and report on results.
Responsibilities:
• Define customer, business, and functional product requirements
• Analyze, communicate, and act on business metrics and data to grow the business
• Collaborate with cross-organizational sales, marketing, design and engineering teams to deliver successfully and execute go to market plans for new products
• Work with stakeholders throughout Amazon on coordinated execution plans that enable us to move quickly, focus on customer needs, and drive operational excellence
• Leverage consumer insights and competitive intelligence reports to help explain online behavioral trends and inform product decisions
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 5 years of Product Management experience
• 2 years of experience working directly in advertising, entertainment and/or technology
• Direct experience defining products and roadmaps which deliver customer value while dealing with complex technical requirements
• Proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and marketing, and sales counterparts
• Passion for understanding customers and their behavior
• Ability to think big and influence across all levels of an organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent quantitative data analysis and critical-thinking skills
• Experience with agile development
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Solid understanding of the online advertising marketplace including how ads are bought, sold and delivered
• Proven track record in bringing new, transformative products to market
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities; must effectively communicate with technical and non-technical people at all levels
• Strong quant and analytical abilities – you use data to make decisions but do not suffer from analysis paralysis
• Client-facing experience, including direct client interactions via emails, phone calls, and in-person meetings
