Imagine This Women's International Film Festival Is Looking For Two Communication Coordinator Interns To Assist With Social Media And Editorial
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communication Social Media Intern:
-Identify can't-miss social media engagement opportunities for the brand, including local/national community awareness days, film and media-related news, etc.
-Develop an overall social media strategy to help drive engagement and increase followers
-Engage with Imagine This community via social networking sites.
-Involved in the day-to-day management of Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, including content creation, copywriting, social planning and community management
Communication Digital Content Intern:
-Will have the opportunity to write and produce various types of shareable marketing and communications-related content.
-Help build and amplify a consistent brand and channel voice
-Ideate and execute timely, innovative content to engage our followers
-Help coordinate email blasts via MailChimp
-Assist in launching blog content for SEO- Utilize current SEO strategies to connect content with a target audience
REQUIREMENTS:
Passionate about learning; enthusiastic about film culture, film festivals, lifestyle, entertainment, and women in film
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience using Facebook and Twitter for personal and professional purposes
Ability to Multitask and a Self-Starter with a Friendly Attitude
Receptive to input from others
Highly Motivated Team Player
Strong organizational and time management skills
Knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Mailchimp, Squarespace, Wix, and Wordpress, are a plus
Currently in pursuit of a college degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Film PR/Marketing program
College credit will be provided to all candidates
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
ITWIFF offers our interns the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in an art and film festival organization; develop skills in social media, content creation, marketing and PR, email marketing, and project management; and to gain exposure to the independent film industry. Though unpaid, this is an excellent opportunity to participate in the process of an international film festival and the opportunity to network with industry leaders. University credit hours are available to qualified candidates.

Remote
