Imagine Exhibitions, a pioneer in global traveling entertainment and immersive experiences, is seeking an experienced Business Development/Sales Manager. This role will support and market the sales strategy for Imagine Exhibitions' products to museums, science centers, gardens, zoos and other venues worldwide. This position is a full-time position, ideally located in Atlanta, GA but we are open to experienced individuals located in other parts of the continental USA.
About the Role:
The Business Development/Sales Manager will report directly to the COO and VP of Sales and be responsible for finding venues to host our 40+ traveling exhibitions in museums, science centers gardens, zoos and other like-minded venues. The Business Development/Sales Manager will research venues, maintain existing relationships, and develop a comprehensive sales strategy for their market. They will execute best practices and coordinate as needed with internal departments, such as the production, marketing and finance.
This role will be an active member of the Business Development and Sales team at Imagine Exhibitions, whose responsibility it is to maximize sales across our entire portfolio, except for Downton Abbey and Harry Potter: The Exhibition. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in the visitor attraction market, and 3+ years of experience working in business development/sales for the entertainment, attractions or visitor-serving industry. A successful candidate will drive sales and bookings, communicate well across multiple teams, and develop industry relationships while juggling multiple projects simultaneously. A successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and understand that at Imagine Exhibitions, our team members are the ''secret sauce'' to our success.

The successful candidate will be resourceful, results-oriented and will specifically have the ability to:
• Develop clear, researched, targeted and effective sales plans to generate sales leads, create sales opportunities and gain new business
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities to expand in existing markets, penetrate new markets or market segments through a constant and documented strategic watch
• Work with industry organizations for conferences, planning of the tradeshows/conferences
Responsibilities:
• Lead sales, promotional and communication strategies
• Develop relationships and cultivate new contacts
• Revenue maximization
• Cold call potential clients
• Submit oral and written reports weekly
• Trade show logistics, preparation, and attendance
• Create sales presentations and other B2B communications in collaboration with Marketing team
• Implement best sales practices
• Manage sales database
• Stay up to date with market trends
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities
• Other duties as assigned
Required Competencies:
• 3+ years' experience working in museums/science centers, visitor attractions, entertainment, or related industries,
• Bachelor's degree
• Problem-solving skills
• Results-oriented work ethic
• Experience using contact management software
• Out-of-the-box thinker
• Positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong negotiation, communication, verbal, people and presentation skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Research/Writing skills
• 10-15% travel domestically and internationally (valid unrestricted passport required)
Preferred Competencies:
• Experience using Zendesk
• Sales experience in the traveling exhibition, museum, attraction, or entertainment industry
• Atlanta based
• Masters degree
