Our IMAGINE Documentaries division is seeking a Development Coordinator. This is a hybrid role encompassing administrative support and creative development. Primary tasks include supporting Co-President with day-to-day scheduling, expenses, travel, and general office support; as well as supporting the Development Executive with research, coverage, writing, proof-reading, and screening submissions.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have prior experience in the entertainment industry
- Be comfortable proactively managing a call and meeting-heavy schedule, with an ability to coordinate optimal time management and workflow
- Be extremely organized, resourceful, motivated and dedicated
- Thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere, anticipate needs and stay on top of a multitude of projects and details
- Fit well into a team, have a positive, enthusiastic personality and is a self-starter committed to independently tracking details and ensuring follow-through
- Have interest and/or experience in development work (writing, reading, and research)
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support to Co-President and administrative support and coordinating tasks to Development Executive
- Manage a heavy call volume, intensive scheduling, domestic and international travel arrangements, correspondence and expense reports
- Provide regular research for development team
- Stay up-to-date on individuals and activities related to company, our subsidiaries and diverse new ventures
- Read and write script coverage and/or screen submissions as needed
- Proofread pitch copy and track the pitch-deck creation process
- Create and manage effective organizational systems including project slates and grids
- Anticipate office needs and proactive in follow-through
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year as an executive assistant in entertainment industry
- College degree preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High emotional intelligence
- Proven ability to anticipate needs and be resourceful
- Ability to be discreet and appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information
- Track record of responsiveness and reliability
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiar with Google Docs and Excel
