Position summary:
This role reports to the Head of Digital Marketing. The ideal candidate will oversee all outward IHC communications with an eye on our brand, culture and business objectives. This person will be our voice to the community and will require a keen understanding of who we are and where we are trying to go, while maintaining a sense of humor and constantly immersing themselves in the zeitgeist of all relevant entertainment, news and pop culture.
Duties will include IHC social media, newsletters, and website management, including handling guestlist and influencer invites. This role will also play an integral part as support in all agency projects and will require skills in influencer strategy, client communications, development of pitches and recapping & reporting. This individual should have savvy ideas, a social demeanor and a creative spirit, yet be able to translate those into a business-minded sensibility with passionate follow through. Candidates will need to work well in a team environment with confidence and handle their own ongoing projects.
This person will undertake a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including but not limited to: Social media, influencer management, newsletters, agency communications, internal collaborations, ideation and deck creation (copy and design), maintaining client relationships, research, social listening and project execution.
Requires strong computer and organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, creative thinking and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and artists.
Sensitivity to confidential information is required.
Core tasks:
- Creative brainstorming & ideation
- Responsible for all IHC communication channels (social media, website, newsletter, LinkedIN, etc), including developing and maintaining a content calendar and community engagement
- Responsible for audience/community building strategy, vision for the IHC brand and maintaining our public voice via our Weekly Newsletter, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Discord, etc
- Oversee IHC merchandising
- Curatorial taste for IHC channels (pop culture news, newsletters, etc) including updating the weekly IHC playlist
- All influencer strategy and VIP guest communications (campaigns, curation, invites, etc)
- Client and friend gifting strategy
- Support as social media lead and strategy on all IHC agency projects, reporting directly to Head of Digital, with an expectation for onsite execution and delivery
- Social listening for all IHC project recaps and reporting
- Oversee the creation of project schedules and production plans
- Pitch deck creation (copy and design)
- Lead and/or maintain team and client communications as projects require
- Support creation of case studies, recaps and business materials
- Identify opportunities for account growth and relationship-building with current clients
- Maintain IHC brand integrity and spirit across all projects
Ideal Candidate will Possess:
- 4+ years previous social media and digital marketing experience, including owning a brand or agency voice
- Strong knowledge of best practices in social media, digital promotion, marketing, strategy and content creation, especially TikTok, Instagram and Twitter
- Passion for emerging technologies i.e. NFTs, Crypto, Metaverse, etc
- An aptitude for social environments and an ability to handle high profile situations
- Experience in contract negotiation with clients and vendors
- Experience with merchandise production, online store management and campaign ideas
- Relevant contacts within the industries
- Creative thinking
- Excellent writing, document preparation and presentation skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Organizational and planning skills
- Internal and project management skills
- Information gathering and monitoring skills
- Judgment and decision-making ability
- Discretion with confidential information
- Initiative and adaptability in fast-paced environment
- Experience with design, photo & video editing and audio software
