Account Coordinator, Print Department
Summary:
The Account Coordinator will successfully build and manage strong, lasting relationships with client accounts and deliver services in a profitable manner. Candidates demonstrate either agency or client side experience, and knowledge of the entertainment industry from the print side. Day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with colleagues on accounts, managing and growing existing client relationships and developing new business. 2-3 years related agency or client side experience is preferred. Position requires periodic travel as well as the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays if necessary.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Manages the traffic for all deadlines, Art Director team assignments, and coordinates Account Executive needs/projects
Anticipates client's needs and will proactively assess and manage risk during the project's life-cycle
Responsible for delivering print marketing services to each client in a timely manner and within the scope of the agreement; including all relevant SOWs, schedules, POR's and billing
Works closely with Designers, Art/Creative Directors and other divisions of the department, as well as other departments within the agency, to ensure that direction provided is clear and sufficient in order to produce the desired deliverables for each client
Supports the rest of the team when client communication is needed
Attends off-site meetings to represent the department and the project team
Engages in weekly Account Executive meetings to cover billing and new business planning and projections, Daily Production check-ins, and the weekly Account Team meeting
Participates to solve client needs strategically-which includes participation in ideation and brainstorm where needed
Collects the hours estimates from development and creative for pricing purposes
Creates the daily schedule for Art Directors
Leads the Art Director and Brain Trust status meetings daily
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 2 years of experience - preferably in the entertainment advertising niche
Proven track record and desire to handle multiple projects with innumerable client changes, while maintaining a calm demeanor
Ability to wrangle Designers, Art Directors and clients to meet deadlines
Possesses natural ability to engage clients both personally and professionally
Capacity to handle a wide variety of tasks and assignments in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and the desire to introduce clients to potential new strategies and solutions that will positively impact their business
Exhibit excellent communication skills, both orally and in written form
Effectively presents information in both one-on-one and group situations to clients and other employees of the agency
Flexibility, responsiveness and the capability to ''think on their feet''
Must be proficient in MS Office and Google Docs, Google Sheets & Google Slides
General familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign process is a plus.
