ICM Partners, a major literary and talent agency, is looking for an assistant to support the Senior Vice President of TV Business Affairs in the Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will be a recent law school graduate who's willing to take an entry-level position to build a career in the entertainment industry. The candidate would have a strong interest in business affairs, exceptional organizational, prioritization and time management skills, and previous entertainment experience.
Primary assistant duties include a combination of administrative responsibilities (e.g. phones, scheduling, managing expense reports and maintaining filing system) and substantive responsibilities (e.g. reviewing agreements, drafting routine letters/correspondence, taking notes on negotiation phone calls, assisting in distribution of agreements/documentation).
We require a strong degree of multi-tasking, a sharp focus for details, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and familiarity with television or other entertainment related contracts. Must be articulate, with excellent communication skills, and PC proficient. Must also be proficient in Microsoft Office. A Juris Doctor Degree is required and Bar admittance is preferred.
