ICM Partners, a major talent and literary agency, is seeking a full-time Contract Administration & Finance Assistant for Theater, in our New York office.
The ideal candidate should be flexible, motivated, highly organized, discreet, and adept at multi-tasking in a high-pressure office environment. Attention to detail and superb organizational skills are a must.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required
• 1+ year(s) of prior administrative or accounting experience
• 1+ year(s) of prior experience in theater preferred (background in theatrical general/company management or bookkeeping is
extremely helpful)
• Must be VERY detail-oriented, organized, and good with numbers
• HIGH proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Outlook & Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Able to handle confidential/sensitive information discreetly and with diplomacy
• Eagerness to work in theater or arts administration
• Able to juggle multiple projects at a fast pace, while maintaining high work quality
Responsibilities:
• Assist with incoming payments and royalty statements for theater deals
• Review outgoing payments for accuracy
• Review deal summaries and compare to contracts
• File, copy, scan, and maintain documents
• Research client/payee inquiries, generate reports, and set up spreadsheets
