SUMMARY
Hulu's Content Partnerships team is seeking a Senior Associate who will be an exceptional addition to our Content team. As a Sr. Associate in the Network Partnerships team, you will report to the Director, Network Partnerships and be an integral part of the group responsible for growing Hulu's live linear service (Hulu with Live TV). You will lead complex analysis to inform key business decisions, identify opportunities, and develop recommendations to inform our content acquisition strategy. You will be blending quantitative output with a strong subjective filter to create actionable insights, all at a breakneck pace. The right person for this role is a self-starter with exceptional analytical abilities, eager to learn about the linear streaming space, and a demonstrated ability to drive business value through analytics. WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Partner with Content Partnerships team in executing complex analysis to inform content acquisition strategy for Hulu Live TV
• Define/validate/refine KPI's and underlying metrics to assess network performance
• Manage monthly/weekly/quarterly KPI reporting and variance analysis
• Conduct and support efforts to drive subscriber growth of Hulu Live offerings through data deep dives, viewership analysis, and market research
• Provide business insights to uncover customer growth levers and identify, evaluate and size opportunities to improve viewing engagement on Hulu Live
• Partner with Data teams to define and automate routine analysis and reporting to track and manage performance
• Effectively communicate and socialize actionable results and findings throughout the organization
• Assist with negotiation strategy/review of Hulu DMVPD's network provider agreements and management of network partner relationships
• Gather information from internal and external sources and synthesize into decks and presentations suitable for business leads and collaborators to make informed decisions
• Create documents and develop processes to summarize complex agreements and data findings for internal or external use
WHAT TO BRING
• 2-5 years overall experience, with a media/technology focus – knowledge of SQL is a big plus
• Highly competent in utilizing data to drive decision-making with ability to connect business requirements to analytics techniques
• Passion for entertainment, TV and technology with a deep knowledge of the evolution of the digital/media industries
• Strong partner engagement skills with the ability to develop relationships, and maximize existing partner channels
• Excellent relationship management, strong team building, and the ability to work across business units and functions
• Ability to prioritize, project manage and drive progress forward under pressured timelines
• Excellent communication skills with an effortless ability to tailor messages for both business and technical audiences; comfort in addressing informal team meetings and delivering prepared presentations to executives/external audiences
• Demonstrated experience operationalizing analytics and insights into business processes
