SUMMARY
Hulu's Internal Communications team is seeking a Manager who will be an exceptional addition to our Talent and Organization (TAO) team. The mission for the Internal Communications Manager is to keep Hulugans deeply connected to Hulu's values and business priorities. As an Internal Communications Manager at Hulu, you will manage and drive the internal global editorial 'newsroom' at Hulu and manage content strategy, research, creation, scheduling, and publication/delivery across all internal communications channels. The right person for this role is an excellent writer and communicator; is highly strategic about messaging, timing, and communications channels; and is a great collaborator and confident in garnering dedication and cooperation from others at all levels. WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Drive the internal global editorial 'newsroom' at Hulu and manage cross-format content strategy, research, creation, scheduling, and publication/delivery across all internal communications channels
• Drive internal executive communications for leaders across a variety of diverse businesses
• Work with team members and business partners to deliver end-to-end communications plans for internal announcements and news
• Work with Corporate Communications and Marketing to align external audience communications strategy with internal communications strategy
• Lead global internal communications events strategy and work with all office leads in satellite locations to deliver on-brand and culture-rich team member events
• Serve as a steward of our culture by maintaining consistent transparency, voice, and tone across all communications and channels
• Manage data reporting and identify actionable insights
• Manage work independently, with self-direction, organization and advance planning on all programs, while engaging leadership to remove hurdles and garner agreement
• Manage peers and cross functional teams on complex, multi-faceted programs and creating business cases and pitching ideas to teams and leaders, all with little need for supervision
• Effectively collaborate with, advise and influence executives and professionals
• Oversee expenditures and stay within or below budgets; negotiate with vendors
• Analyze and share metrics for all programs and continuously seeking to improve
• Keep an eye on industry trends and identify when/where we need to invest in new systems and tools to keep communications methods and channels current and relevant
WHAT TO BRING
• Minimum of 5-6 years of professional experience in communications, public relations, marketing, social media or a similar field
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree welcomed
• Demonstrated competency in developing and delivering high quality, meaningful and fun events
• Knowledge of internal communications channels including digital tools (intranets, Web initiatives, social media, etc.).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; including editing and copywriting
• Demonstrate ability to manage ambiguity and complex projects
• Ability to demonstrate collaborative mindset and a solution driven approach
• Deep sense of accountability and responsibility for delivering work on strategy and on time
• Strong project and people management skills
• Passion for creating great experiences and creating/pitching new ideas to the team
NICE-TO-HAVES
• Experience with data analytics tools and creating insights reports
• Basic visual communications skills
