SUMMARY
Hulu's Content Marketing team is seeking a Manager, Content Marketing Strategy who will be an exceptional addition to our growing team. As Manager, Content Marketing Strategy at Hulu, you will liaise with business stakeholders to apply data and analytics to tackle our biggest challenges and Content Marketing strategies. This will entail leading a Content Marketing Strategy team focused on providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations in support of Content Marketing initiatives, acting as a consultant to the Marketing team, and ensuring high business value in the analysis you provide. You will promote the use of data and analytics as a critical value driver and source of competitive advantage within Marketing and across our organization. The right person for this role has experience leading teams, utilizing analytics and consumer insights research to inform strategy, strong attention to detail, likes to solve problems, is intellectually curious and an innovator. WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Lead a team of highly skilled marketing strategists to develop deep analyses and recommendations using quantitative methods
• Be a partner across the Content Marketing team identifying business problems and developing solutions that lead to improved campaigns, acquisition, engagement and retention efforts
• Apply data and analytics and use customer data to drive actionable insights in multiple areas: regular, real-time reporting and insights to inform how Content Marketing efforts impact business goals, uncover growth and development opportunities for campaign planning, and guide strategy
• Understand and define stakeholder requirements, develop an action plan and then present back to the client in a business context, clearly articulating results and strategic recommendations, both visually and verbally
• Serve as liaison between Content Marketing and the Marketing Research team (Consumer Insights, Marketing Analytics, Ad Sales Research) as well as across Strategic Analytics, Data Science and others to connect insights from a variety of studies/analyses to tell a holistic story and drive actionable insights
• Support the operationalization of analytics outputs to achieve maximum business value
WHAT TO BRING
• 7 years of experience conducting data analysis and providing strategic recommendations to marketing initiatives, plus 3 years of experience leading teams, consulting experience highly valued
• Master's in a field such Economics, Business/Marketing, etc. from a top-tier university
• Highly competent with data analysis and utilizing data to drive decision-making, specifically related to marketing effectiveness
• Experience with the following tools/languages: SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau (or other BI/data viz tools)
• Experience manipulating and analyzing massive data sets
• Ability to tell a story with data both verbally and visually
• Have an open mind to research and learn new analytical techniques
• Experience and passion working within the entertainment industry
