SUMMARY
Hulu's Subscriber Growth team is seeking a Director, Lifecycle Marketing who will play a critical strategic leadership role on our marketing team. This individual will lead a high-impact team that builds and optimizes lifecycle marketing programs and breakthrough campaigns to increase subscriber engagement, retention, and lifetime value. We're seeking someone who will rely on marketing savvy, deep customer empathy, and a strong grasp of data-informed insights to help our viewers get the most out of Hulu. WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Develop an overall lifecycle marketing strategy to engage and retain Hulu customers with relevant, timely, and targeted communications
• Drive the evolution of our lifecycle programs towards automated, trigger-based, dynamically personalized messages
• Rigorously evaluate the health of existing campaigns and establish a testing program for continuous optimization
• As a subject matter expert on Hulu's performance against key subscription goals, provide insights and updates to executive-level leaders and partners throughout the company
• Establish and lead informal cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, data, and technology, to develop and execute holistic strategies for improving key business outcomes
• Collaborate with channel owners to execute campaigns and to identify and detail business requirements for new capabilities that will amplify the effect of lifecycle marketing efforts
• Develop, coach, and lead a high-performing team of 5 marketers
WHAT TO BRING
• 10 years of direct-to-consumer marketing experience with proven success in both strategy and execution of innovative, high-impact campaigns
• Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly consume large amounts of data and draw insights that drive the business forward
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a talent for building relationships and influencing others
• Established track record of recruiting and leading high-performing teams that deliver results while having fun
• Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business or related field
• Experience within a subscription-based business or OTT service is a plus but not required
