SUMMARY
Hulu's Content Marketing team is seeking a Director, Creative Marketing to join our group. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned content marketing executive with a track record of driving groundbreaking creative and never before seen audience enagement activities for TV series and/or films. The right person for this role sits at the intersection of culture and creativity. You will leverage your creativity and understanding of marketing channels to deliver breakthrough campaigns that create a groundswell of love and fandom for entertainment properties. You will be passionate about redefining TV through innovation, unconventional thinking and embracing fun, with a management style that emphasizes collaboration, communication and commitment on all levels. WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Define the creative approach, look and feel of all conetent marketing campaings in partnership with internal strategic and cross functional partners.
• Drive creative direction and manage creative development with agency and internal production partners.
• Develop strategies and tactics that bring cultural relevance to our shows amongst targeted audiences.
• Build and present well-communicated strategies and tactics to executives and provide a logical framework for future innovation.
• Identify new channels and creative opportunities for our content brands to activate.
• Partner with strategic leaders of our content campaigns to push boundaries and develop innovative campaign initiatives that are industry firsts.
• Win support for your campaign ideas from all relevant stakeholders, including Hulu executives and external talent.
• Build a team to help push creative innovation across all Hulu content intiatives.
• Manage relationships with cross functional teams to execute campaigns; in particular, coordinate tightly with other marketing functions, including brand marketing, social, creative and PR to insure originals campaigns fit with overall brand initiatives and communications timelines.
WHAT TO BRING
• 8-10 years of experience marketing content with a track record of strong creative judgement that enagages a mass audience.
• Ability to think strategically, and innovate in established and new mediums.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft story and represent it to executives, team members, and outside agencies.
• A sincere love for television and desire to change the status quo.
NICE-TO-HAVES
• Experience within a subscription based business a plus but not required.
