SUMMARY
Hulu's Product Education team is seeking a Digital Content Strategist who will be an extraordinary addition to our Viewer Experience team. As a Digital Content Strategist at Hulu, you will work closely with the Product Education team to design on-brand, personalized content for Hulu's viewers. The right person for this role understands that personalized content has come a long way since the days when 'Dear [NAME]' was enough to capture people's attention. If you are someone who is super jazzed to research, develop, deploy, measure, and optimize targeted content experiences that increase our viewer understanding, then this is the role for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Manage a diverse library of support content and various content types including, but not limited to, copy, images, video, and voice
• Craft succinct engaging messaging that helps viewers resolve their issue
• Identify audience groups to deliver timely and relevant messaging in targeted areas
• Review product roadmaps and identify new opportunities for delivering personalized content
• Review product issues to utilize targeted content to minimize user confusion
• Manage an editorial calendar and process to ensure quality, timeliness, and consistency in our messaging
• Use data to analyze the performance of targeted content and regularly report results
• Analyze ways to optimize support content, structure, and layout – balancing strategy and experience
• Build and lead our A/B testing and experimentation program for support content
• Work directly with Product Manager to expand, test, and implement functionality that will optimize our viewers' Help Site experience
• Stay up-to-date with developments in content management and generate new ideas to build engagement and serve audiences
WHAT TO BRING
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BFA) from a four-year accredited college or university in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field
• 3-5 years relevant combination of experience in web copywriting, content marketing, digital marketing, or related web content creation role
• Proven work experience as a content writer with a customer focus
• Experience writing for SEO and a deep understanding of how SEO concepts influence content
• Knowledge of web traffic metrics
• Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
• Consistent track record of creating and instrumenting meaningful digital content that connects and converts into measurable business results
• Deep understanding of standard methodologies and emerging digital technologies, with the ability to help implement them across a large organization
• Deeply resourceful, utilizing all resources and building internal and external relationships to drive performance
• Strong project management and organizational skills and the ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast paced, dynamic environment
NICE-TO-HAVES
• Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience with Google Analytics a plus
