SUMMARY
Hulu is looking for an Creative Project Producer for the Marketing team with an emphasis on Ad Sales. This role partners with internal Creative team resources as well as Sales support teams in the creation, development, and production of branded/co-branded 360 campaigns. On a daily basis, we creatively craft sound, video and images precisely, effectively, and entertainingly into marketing experiences that tie external brands to Hulu and its programming. The producer is integral to bringing all pieces together and is the core creative role between Sales, Marketing, visual design and video. This position requires someone who has experience working within the creative production process from ideation through execution. Candidate is a self-starter, fanatically organized, detail-oriented and tenacious.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Define project requirements, maintain project and master calendaring, and inter/intra department communication.
• Understand the ad sales market, from pre-sale through execution and apply those learnings to continuously improve processes and proactively identify strategic and/or creative spec discrepancies.
• Collaborate with multiple teams (Marketing, Sales, Integrated Marketing, Research) and internal Creative resources (video producers, editors, art directors, designers, copywriters, developers) to create high quality design, video and rich media materials at scale with a high degree of efficiency.
• Establish and build relationships across teams in an effort to improve communication operational effectiveness.
• Help drive brainstorms and the pre-sale process to propose new materials and opportunities that extend the brand, appeal to outside advertisers/brands, and employ new trends and technologies.
• Work in an independent fashion, solve problems, make decisions, and communicate effectively in difficult situations.
• Be passionate about delivering the best creative, but able to find ways of producing it that does not jeopardize schedule and budget.
WHAT TO BRING
• At least 4-6 years experience at a client or agency producing and/or project managing design, video and digital/HTML5 - based marketing or advertising creative.
• Proven performance in a producer or similar role supporting marketing and/or sales.
• Current knowledge of rich media and video production that can be applied to the Hulu advertising experience.
• Proficiency in managing workload for designers, editors, and front end developers.
• Ability to convey thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively in visual, verbal and written format.
• Strong project management principles, including the ability to shine under pressure, making on-the-fly decisions to meet tight deadlines.
• Gracefully give and receive constructive and honest feedback on all creative projects.
• Strong presentation and writing skills.
• Ability and willingness to adapt to a dynamic work environment is essential.
• Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
• A critical eye in terms of aesthetics and how it aligns to strategy.
• An ability and love of learning and innovation.
NICE-TO-HAVES
• BA/BS
• Comfortable working with team members that use Adobe Creative Suite and coding languages such as HTML5.
• Knowledge of both Macintosh and PC platforms, and the ability to work in and prepare files for both platforms
