Hulu is searching for an assistant video editor to join our small but mighty Creative Services/Advertising team to work on a wide range of editorial goodness - including client and promo reels, content and sales sizzles, commercials, how-to's, walkthroughs, and more.

What does the ''assistant'' in ''assistant editor'' mean? It means teamwork. We're looking for someone who won't mind devoting her or his time to the less glamorous aspects of editorial, not just because you love and truly enjoy every aspect of editing, but because there's room here to grow. It also means that while you may spend a good amount of time assistant editing, there will be plenty of opportunities for your skills to take center stage. Editing Skills. Motion Graphics Skills. Design Skills. Everything you've got. Which is a lot.

Qualifications

Attention to detail.
The ability to communicate effectively and with poise and maturity in person, in writing, over the phone, or even on a napkin.
Gracefully giving and receiving constructive and honest feedback on all creative projects.
At least 3 years editing experience with Final Cut Pro. In our multimedia environment, being an editor means having experience with graphics, motion graphics, compositing, color correcting, dialogue and music editing.
Comfortable using Photoshop, After Effects, Motion, ProTools, Soundtrack Pro, Color, Compressor, and ProCoder. The more versatility you possess, the better.
Willingness to adapt.
A Bachelor's degree is expected, but valuable industry experience is equally valued.
